We are pleased to announce that the Fondation Jardin Majorelle has acquired a developed site adjoining the Jardin Majorelle.

The Foundation has acquired this unique property in Marrakech in order to protect the Jardin Majorelle from any real estate speculation, following in the footsteps of the late Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, and respectful of their vision. This land and its buildings were part of the original garden of the painter Jacques Majorelle; acquiring it was therefore of major interest to our Foundation.

This new property will house the Foundation’s headquarters. Development studies are underway for the future use of this space; in the meantime, commercial premises that are included in the property have been rented on a temporary basis.
